Current E-Fan online education programs consist of students from Kindergarten to Adult. We have various courses depending on student age, ESL level and academic requirement. Some students are currently studying in Canada or the United States while other students in China are preparing for that eventuality.
The formal online programs are provided through curriculum that is actively offered in North American public schools. The online programs have been created to parallel regular classroom content and offer our students the material required to participate in regular classroom experiences in addition to adhering to an ESL focus.
Each class session is usually 3 to 4 months. Once a class session is completed, the student will determine if he/she will renew for another session.
For each formal online course, E-Fan provides a curriculum outline based on the course standard from the Ministry of Education BC.

Class Structure
The majority of E-Fan students are located in China, The students are mainly from private or international schools in China. They have relatively better English skills than standard Chinese public school students. The goal of the majority of E-Fan students is preparation towards their future academic studies in North America.
Teaching time is usually scheduled during daytime hours on weekends (Beijing time), which is Friday or Saturday evening (Vancouver PST time). The class is therefore generally between 5:00PM and 12PM (PST). Summer and Winter vacation classes are more flexible with regard to student and teacher schedules.
Most classes are conducted on a one-to-one basis. On some special occasions, a teacher may be offered a small class of less or equal to 4 students. Class duration is usually 1-2 hours long depending on the needs of the students and the availability of the teacher.
